ATHENS — Tennessee Wesleyan College has recently accepted new students for enrollment for the upcoming academic year, and a local student was among them.

Mitchell Cross of Benton has been accepted start his education there during the fall 2014 semester.

Home of the Bulldogs, Tennessee Wesleyan is a private, comprehensive institution grounded in the liberal arts. The college offers an array of undergraduate and graduate programs including a well-known nursing program. Life outside of the classroom includes a rich student life program, including Greek life, many clubs and organizations and championship athletic teams.

ATHENS — Tennessee Wesleyan College has accepted two new local students for enrollment during the Fall 2014 semester.

Cody Groomes of Benton and Rachael Delashmitt of Decatur have been accepted to the college.
