Cayci Michelle Combs of Cleveland will become the bride of Charles Eric Freeman of Riceville in a 6:30 ceremony June 11 on the Hiwassee River.

The forthcoming marriage is announced by the parents of the bride-elect, Joe and Kelly Guffey of Cleveland and Carroll and Tambra Combs of Murfreesboro. The future bridegroom is the son of Marvin Freeman of Riceville and Lisa and Dewayne Hooker of Georgetown.

Miss Combs is the granddaughter of Barbara and Roy Stepp, Bill Thatch, Pam and Jim Edgemon, Ed Combs and Ellen Guffey, all of Cleveland, the late J.D. Guffey, and Bill and Charlotte Heron of Crossville.

She is a graduate of Bradley Central High School and attends the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is employed by Crawford’s Pharmacy.

Mr. Freeman is the grandson of Virginia and Lloyd Boone of Riceville, Hoyt M. Freeman of Englewood, Linda Cook of Georgetown and the late Charles “Bobby” Cook, Tony Clay of Calhoun, Ga., and the late Francis Clay, and the late Ralph Hooker. He is the brother of Brooke Hooker, Dakota Hooker and Matt Freeman, all of Georgetown, and Ericka Freeman of Riceville.

He is a graduate of McMinn County High School and is employed as a firefighter with the city of Cleveland.
