Connie Anita McCoin Sheckells, 44, a resident of McDonald, passed away Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, in a Chattanooga health care facility.

She attended All Nations Church of God and was a waitress working at area restaurants with more than seven years of service at the Cracker Barrel.

She was precede­d in death by her father, Marvin McCoin; and a son, Jeremiah Lee Swalley.

She is survived by her children: Eric McCoin of Calhoun, and Heidi Tatum and her husband, Cole, of Cleveland; grandchildren: Skyler, Cheyenne, Marley and Dixie; her mother, Mildred McCoin of Decatur; sister, Bonnie and Jerry Heaton of Harrison; brothers: Dale McCoin and his wife, Sandy, of Fallen Water, Ricky and Jan McCoin of Ooltewah and Danny and Margaret McCoin of Nashville; and several nieces and nephews.

A Remembrance of Life service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at the Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Mike Whitmire officiating.

Interment will follow in the Old McDonald Cemetery with Cody Tatum, Phillip McCoin, Stephen McCoin, Cole Tatum, Clayton Delaney and Adrian Rymer serving as casketbearers.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from noon to theservice time at the funeral home.
