Connie Lou Green Lipps, 51, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, in a Chattanooga hospital.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Geraldine Campbell Green; and her grandparents: Johnny and Jewel Green and Willie and Hazel Campbell.

She was a lifelong member of the Fairview Baptist Church in Polk County.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Lipps; her father and stepmother: Noah and Pat Green; sons: Cory Dobbs and Lance Dobbs both of Cleveland; stepson, Gary Lee Lipps of Benton; stepdaughter, Deanna Long and her husband, Andy, of Cleveland; grandchildren: Dylan and Aubrey Sullivan, Taggen, Trevor and Thomas Lipps and Serenity Waters; sisters and their husbands: Joyce and Alvin Hixson, Sharon and Froney Rymer all of Cleveland, Denise and David Waddell of Chatsworth and Renee Cheatham of Reliance. Also surviving are her sisters-in-law: Donna and Jimmy Palmer of Georgetown and Linda and Ted Bates of Cleveland. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Remembrance of Life Service will be held 2 p.m. today, Oct. 27, 2013, at the Wildwood chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Revs. Bobby Green, Lee Ingram and Buster Fox officiating.

The interment will follow in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery with Jayson and Noah Waddell, Dylan Cheatham, Sandy Wild, Nick Palmer and Austin Moore serving as casket bearers.
