Bradley County Traffic Unit deputies Michael Westfield and David Oliver were among first responders to a traffic crash Monday on White Oak Road and Rollins Ridge Road that injured several people.
The crash occurred just before 4:30 p.m., at the intersection of the two roads, according to reports.
Stan Clark of Bradley County Emergency Medical Service said four ambulances were sent to the scene to aid four male victims, one of whom was flown to Erlanger Medical Center for treatment. A woman and a 12-year-old child were also injured.
According to Clark, five people were taken by ambulance to SkyRidge Medical Center for treatment.
Bradley County Fire-Rescue first responders went to the scene to aid in extrication of the passenger who was flown to Erlanger via LifeForce helicopter.
Clark said the man was listed in stable but serious condition.
All other occupants of the two vehicles were listed as stable after being taken to SkyRidge.
- Bradley County officials are investigating an aggravated burglary which occurred at an 11th Street address. The break-in was believed to have occurred between Oct. 13 and Oct. 17, according to a report filed by deputy Matthew Landolt.
Sharon Rymer had been out of town and returned home when she discovered her home had been burglarized. She said someone entered her home through a bedroom window.
A plastic jewelry box and a lockbox containing several items were taken.
According to the report, a white jewelry box, jewelry, miscellaneous compact discs and digital video discs were also taken.
Rymer’s loss was estimated at $510.
The Bradley County Criminal Investigations Division is in charge of the investigation.
