The Cleveland-based organization said thousands of believers have joined in hundreds of county gatherings in every state to voice for God’s intervention in the past.
During this national event, the Awakening American Alliance is once again calling for believers across the nation to gather at county courthouses beginning at noon on Saturday.
The local prayer service will open with a welcome message from state Rep. Kevin Brooks and his family to be followed by the presentation of colors by the Bradley Central High School ROTC Color Guard.
The Westmore Church of God Choir will sing the “Star Spangled Banner.”
The focus of the 2010 program is to involve future generations and those who work with youths crying out in praise, thanksgiving, repentance, restoration and for an awakening to the personal knowledge of Christ.
Cleveland Mayor Tom Rowland will proclaim the city to be of holy people based on Isaiah Chapter 62.
State Rep. Eric Watson will read Joshua 24:14 –15 and offer closing remarks in honor of emergency response workers.
