The funds for this event will be used for the Kiwanis Club of Cleveland Youth and Community Services Foundation, which is a nonprofit entity. It funds various community service projects, including 750 books free at Cleveland State, the Head Start Christmas Clothing Projects for two local Head Start classrooms, scholarships for local young people, aiding the Key Club at Walker Valley High School and Cleveland High School as well as The Builders Club at Cleveland Middle School, awards and trophies for the Bradley County 4-H Speech Contest and support of local organizations dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to children just to name a few.
“We take pride in being able to give back to the community. So dig out your dancing shoes and invite your daddies and your mommas, or your sons and daughters, to a filled night of kickin’ up your heels at the Daddy and Daughter and Mother and Son Dance,” a representative said.
