Dancers from Cleveland Dance and Performing Arts Center compete

Dancers from Cleveland Dance and Performing Arts Center recently competed in the Southeast Tennessee's Got Talent Competition in Athens, sponsored by The Pilot Club of Athens. CDPAC's 13-time National Champions, The Avant Garde Dance, were featured as special guest entertainment. CDPAC dancers competed in three age divisions against musicians, singers, actors and dancers from all over Southeast Tennessee and were first-place winners in all three categories. From left are Abby Bowman, Aspen Dressler, Haley Truelove, Caitlyn Lynn, Caitlynd Harned, Olivia Orr, Lexi Valliere, Jacob Carrell (first-place adult grand champion), Allie Reid (first-place youth grand champion), Emily Derrick and Shelbee Jordan (second-place youth division); and back, Ashley Harper, Caroline Saunders, Nisa Hooper (executive director) and Lydia Mitchell (third-place youth division). Derrick, Lynn and Valliere were first-place teen grand champions. CDPAC is currently enrolling new and transfer students at the Cleveland and Chattanooga locations for the new dance season.
