He was of the Church of God faith. He was employed by Tiger Landscaping.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Elsie Sullivan Britt; and two brothers: Bobby Britt and Ronnie Britt.
Survivors include his son, Daniel Britt II of Cleveland; two grandchildren: Josh Cranfield of Cleveland and Daniellie Garner of Soddy Daisy; two sisters: Marie Walker and Nell Welch; three brothers: David Britt, Wayne Sullivan, and J.C. Britt; and special friends: Phyllis Howard and her three children, Jason Howard, Annette Graham, and Tammy Ballinger.
The funeral was conducted on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Mitchell Wright officiating. Interment followed in McInturf Cemetery.
