Starfish, a nonprofit early childhood in-home parent education program, is hosting auditions for its second annual talent show on Nov. 2.

Auditions will be held by appointment only, and those wishing to audition may fill out an application at www.bicc-inc.org.

The deadline to sign up for an audition has been extended to Tuesday. There is a $10 application fee, and, if selected, a $25 competition fee to participate in the show.

The talent show will take place on April 25, 2014. The show will be open to the public and tickets will be $12 each.

A $500 grand prize will be given to the talent show winner, along with other $250 prizes for subcategories.

“Starfish is vitally important to our community, because of the critical importance of a child’s early years,” said Corinne Freeman, Starfish Program Director. “The proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly toward our involvement in strengthening families and children.”
