Dean Cowdrey, 49, a resident of Dayton, passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at his home.
He was born in San Antonio, Texas, on Feb. 21, 1965, a son of the late Donald and Sharon Cowdrey. He has made the Dayton area his home since the mid 1990s. He was very gifted and loved to fix about anything.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents: Lila Horvath and Ralph and Wanda Haase; one aunt, Ester Mae Haase; and four uncles: Daniel, James, Dennis and Kent Hasse.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory one brother, Brian Cowdrey; five aunts: Judy Haase, Nancy Smith, Lori Mae, Susan Hayes and Barb Garno; and numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A memorial celebration and gathering will be held at the family home, 269 Water Plant Road in Dayton, Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at 6 p.m.
