Mr. and Mrs. Kim Dees of Cleveland announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Meredith, to Jonathan McConnell, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill McConnell, also of Cleveland.

The couple will exchange wedding vows in a 4 p.m. ceremony May 28 at the Ernest M. Vincett Chapel.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Wilma and Frank McSpadden and the late Billy and Lois Dees.

Miss Dees is a graduate of Cleveland High School and Cleveland State Community College. She is employed by Blue Ridge Pulmonary. She is a member of First Baptist Church.

The future bridegroom is the grandson of J.T. and Mildred Williams of Cleveland and the late William and Kathleen McConnell. He is the brother of Katie Henry of Cleveland.

Mr. McConnell is a graduate of Cleveland High School. Also a graduate of the EMT program at Cleveland State Community College, he is employed by SkyRidge Medical Center. He is a member of Westwood Baptist Church.
