Dennis Epperson has been elected to a third, two-year term as Home Builders Association of Tennessee’s Southeast Area vice president.

Epperson will represent five associations throughout the Southeast — Chattanooga, Home Builders Associations of Southern Tennessee being the largest and followed by Cleveland/Bradley County, ORBA. The other three associations are South Central Home Builders Association, Cumberland Association, and Warren County Association.

Epperson, at the end of his term, will have served on the executive board of HBAT for seven years. Also, at the end of his term, he will become the first Ocoee Region Builders Association builder life-time director for serving 10 consecutive years with HBAT.

One of the requirements to be certified by the nominating committee at the state level for the ladder of office for state president is that you serve as an area vice president.

Epperson, locally, has served as president of ORBA for two terms. ORBA’s board of directors just recently elected him to serve his fourth term as HBAT HIPAC trustee for two years.

He has served as ORBA’s chairman of Governmental Affairs for several terms and serves in that position currently.

Over the years, ORBA has presented him with many awards and accolades for his accomplishments and commitment to their association.

Epperson has been a builder and a residential land developer in Cleveland/Bradley County for more than 30 years. He has built well over 200 homes this area.

He has been a two-term board of director for Habitat for Humanity. He helped start the ORBA Scholarship program and the Toys for Tots donation each year from ORBA.

He sits on many boards within the city and county governments.

He is married to Rhee Epperson and they have two children, Brooke Alexandria Epperson and Clinton Andrew Epperson.
