Diane Vandergriff, 54, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday morning, Feb. 22, 2014, at a Chattanooga hospital.

She was a member of Covenant Baptist Church. She loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchild and had a deep devotion to her animals.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Blackwell and Barbara Blackwell.

Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Vandergriff; son, Shane Vandergriff and wife, Dionna; daughter, Heather Wilson; four grandchildren: Breonna and Austin Vandergriff and Hayden and Hunter Wilson; one great-grandchild, Destiny Vandergriff; two sisters: Vickie Lawson and husband, Allen, and Debra Campbell and husband, George; and one brother, Eddie Blackwell and wife, Diane, all of Cleveland.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastors Gary Higgins and Ray Higgins officiating.

Interment will follow at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens, concluding with a white dove release ceremony

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Blackwell, Eddie Blackwell Jr., M. Lynn Crisp Jr., Jeremy Goodman, Brandon Headrick and Kurt Young. Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Blackwell III, Derrick Blackwell and Dakota Blackwell.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
