Donald R. Ballinger, 79, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, in a local hospital.
He was a member of Spring Place Church of God of Prophecy. He worked as a pipefitter for TVA and worked in the gym at Bradley Central High School.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacquelyn Ballinger, and parents, Arnold and Elizabeth Ballinger.
He is survived by five children: Ken Ballinger of Dalton, Ga., Terri Ballinger of Chattanooga and Steve Ballinger, Donny Ballinger and Larisa Ballinger, all of Cleveland; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, 2013, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor William Coile and Pastor Daniel Brown officiating.
Interment will follow in Samples Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery with Colby Ballinger, Jake Ballinger, Bramble Mounger, Tommy Ballinger, Richard Ballinger and Tim Howe serving as pallbearers.
