Donald Joe Callahan, 72, a resident of Charleston, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014, at his home.
He worked in auto body repair for 53 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Reba Lois Burgess Callahan; his father, Elmer Callahan; brother, Willie Callahan; and grandson, Andrew Lee “Wiggle” Callahan.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jerry Callahan; sons: Ronald Callahan and wife, Lynn, and Clyde Callahan and fiancé, Kayla Lawson; daughters: Tina Callahan and Dorisa Stamey and husband, Victor, all of Charleston; and grandchildren: Bailey Holmes, Austin Callahan, Cage McDowell and Dillion Callahan.
The funeral will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2014, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel White officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
