Donald Eugene Rogers Jr., 46, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012.
He was of the Christian faith and enjoyed the outdoors. He loved fishing, collecting arrowheads and going to the mountains.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Eugene Rogers Sr., and his beloved little dog "Braxton.”
Survivors include his mother, Johnnie Woods Bellamy; stepfather, Charles "Buddy" Bellamy; brother, Anthony Dale Rogers and his wife, Debi; nephew, Dillon; special aunts, Linda Slaughter and Tina Ortlieb; uncle, David Woods; their families and numerous extended family members are also left to cherish his memory.
A graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery in Cleveland at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2012, with the Rev. Frank Nolen officiating.
The family will receive friends in the parlor of Companion Funeral and Cremation Service, located at 2415 Georgetown Road N.W., from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
