She had courageously fought, with unwavering faith, a battle against cancer. She was a loving, compassionate, giving, hard working, precious and devoted wife, mother and sister, dear to all her family. She joyously reunited with her parents, the Rev. Ben and Madalene Sitzler; little sister, Sally Jane; and father-in-law, Bill Eaves.
She left behind her tender loving husband of 21 years, Rodney Eaves; two loving daughters: Madalene Marie and Lindsey; and her caring mother-in-law, Barbara Eaves; five loving sisters and brothers-in-law: Verna and Doug Alexander, Brenda and Joe Dotson, Kim and Don Henderson, Dot and Joel Watson and Toni and Marty Coffelt, all of Madisonville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Keith and Judy Sitzler of Athens, John and Julie Sitzler of Madisonville, Debbie and Don Kirkland of Benton; and 100-plus other family members.
The family will receive friends at Oak Grove Baptist Church, the church she both loved and was a member of in Benton. The visitation will be held from 6 to 8 this evening Aug. 15, 2011. The service will follow with the Revs. Keith Sitzler, Doug Alexander and Don Whitehead speaking.
Her nephews will carry her body to rest at Oak Grove Cemetery Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011 at 10 a.m..
