She was the daughter of the late James A. Ray and Bessie Moore Ray. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James F. Reynolds Sr.; her sisters: June Ray Cherry, Ethel Brummett, Venna Justice and Thelma Ray; and her brothers: Bill Ray, Earl Ray and Dan Ray.
She was a member of South Cleveland Church of God.
Survivors include one son, Jim Reynolds Jr. and his wife, Tonya, of Cleveland; daughters: Teresa Whitt and her husband, Keith, of Cleveland and Angela Terry and her husband, Dwayne, of Douglasville, Ga.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Justice of Cleveland; brothers: John Ray of Cleveland and Bobby Ray of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2011, at the North Ocoee Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Chris Moody, the Rev. Keith Whitt and the Rev. Dwayne Terry officiating.
Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Steve Ray, John UpChurch, Josh Howell, Cory Arp, Samuel Evers and Matt Howell serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Lancaster and Tom Justice.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
