To celebrate Dustin Ledford’s life, Shane’s Rib Shack on Tuesday, July 10, from 4 to 8 p.m., will support the “Live Wide Open” scholarship fund by donating 10 percent of all sales during the four-hour period to the scholarship. In another scholarship fundraiser, the Dustin Ledford Scholarship Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, July 28, at Chatata Valley Golf Course. Start time is 1 p.m. The event will be a four-man select shot. Entry fee is $45 per player. Lunch will be provided by Shane’s Rib Shack beginning at noon.

Contests during the golfing fundraiser will include Longest Drive, Straightest Drive and Closest to the Pin. Hole sponsorships will cost $100 and Mulligans will be priced at $10. Other donations also will be accepted.
