Nationally known singer, songwriter and author Eddy Bolton from Nashville will headline the Cowboy Gospel Jubilee this Friday at 7 p.m., at the Cleveland Cowboy Church.

“Eddy sang with the legendary Speer Family, doing Bill Gaither events,” said Will Nichols, producer of the weekly music show. “Plus, he wrote numerous popular gospel songs such as “Feeling Like I Feel” and “You Had Your Hand On Me.”

In addition to singing with the Speer Family, Bolton sang with the Masters Four Quartet, the TEXANS, and Calvary Construction Company. Along with his music career, Bolton is a nationally known author of the children's book “Canyon Rescue” as well as the entire series starring Bailey the Cowboy and his mount, Canteen.

“There is no admission to the Jubilee and everyone is welcome. It’s a casual, come-as-you-are event,” continued Nichols. “And each week we give away some terrific door prizes. We are located between Blackburn Road and Blue Springs Road in the Dockery Heights subdivision.”

Regulars on the Jubilee include award-winning singer-songwriter Elmer Bramlett, Danny O’Boyle, Emily Varnell, and the Cowboy Church Band and Chorale.
