Edna S. Pellom, 82, a resident of Old Fort, passed away Saturday afternoon, April 21, 2012, in a local hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Bessie Jones Pellom and Humphrey Kimsey Pellom. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Jessie Campbell; and her brothers: Luther Pellom and Leonard Pellom.

She enjoyed working in her yard and flower garden and spending time with her family.

She was a lifelong member of the Conasauga Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Janet Houston and her husband, Richard, of Rocky Face, Ga.; grandchildren: Kevin Olivares and his fiancé, Julie Kennett, Jennifer Jeskey and her husband, Donald; great-grandchildren: Daniel Olivares, Landon Jeskey; and several nieces and nephews.

The Remembrance of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012, from the Conasauga Baptist Church with the Revs. Jackie Martin and Chad Maxwell officiating.

The body may be viewed from 1 p.m. until the service time at the church.

Interment will follow in the Conasauga Community Cemetery with Steve Long, Donald Jeskey, Daniel Reagan, Benji Waldroup, Eric Patterson and Chris Campbell serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 this evening at Jim Rush Funeral Home.
