Elba Jane Sanders, 76, of Sweetwater, Texas, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital in Sweetwater.
She was born on Oct. 8, 1936, in Roscoe, Texas.
She was the daughter of the late Henry L. and Vesta Bourland. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Bourland.
She was a graduate of Roscoe High School and Lee University in Cleveland. She was a member of Sweetwater Church of God, and loved making crafts.
Survivors include her husband, J.W. Sanders, of Sweetwater; son, Paul McIntosh and wife, Lori, of Sweetwater; stepson, Aaron Sanders and wife, Rosa, of Sweetwater; daughters: Cynthia Rick of Big Spring, Texas, and Robin Fisher of Ennis, Texas; stepdaughters: Shirley Martin and husband, Jimmy of Wylic, Texas, and Reda Martin and husband, Billy, of Abilene, Texas; sister, JoAnn Squires of Cleveland; niece, Anita Ray and husband, Gary, of Dallas; and 13 grandchildren.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, in McCoy Funeral Home, 401 East Third St., Sweetwater Texas 79556, with the Rev. Eric Horton officiating. Interment was in Sweetwater Cemetery.
