She was born in Hamburg, Germany, on Aug. 4, 1938. She was of the Catholic faith.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Pritt; and one son, Dieter Thornton.
She is survived by Don and Mary Thornton of Batesville Ark.; daughter, Debbie Sharp of Cleveland; grandchildren: Rex Hamilton Jr. and Kristina Hamilton, Edward Sharp Jr. and Sissy (Eleonore) Creasman, all of Cleveland; great-grandchildren: Frank Russell, Meghan Hamilton, Noah Sharp, Abigail Sharp and Don Avery Sharp; sister, Traudi Pick of Illinois; brother and sister, of Switzerland; sister-in-law, Lettlice Mann; nieces and nephews, Matthew Mann and Cicely Mann, both of Chatsworth; and numerous other extended family members and friends.
A memorial service is scheduled to for a later date.
