Elizabeth M. Nease, 86, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday morning, Sept. 28, 2013, in a Collegedale health care facility with her loving family by her side.
She was a member of Big Spring Baptist Church.
She had 35 years of service with BellSouth as a service representative. She loved her family very much. Her hobby was spending precious time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Harley Jay Nease; and her parents, Roy W. and Ruby V. Mauldin McCamish.
She is survived by her son, Rick Nease; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Johnny Baker; grandchildren: Lauren Moyle and husband, Paul, and Jordan Nease; sisters: Joyce McCamish of Cleveland and Joann Forrest of McMinnville; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Thacker officiating. Music will be provided by Patrick Wooden.
Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rick Nease, Jordan Nease, Johnny Baker, Todd Nease, Marcus Palmer and Paul Moyle serving as pallbearers. There will be a dove release ceremony at the cemetery.
The family extends a very special appreciation to Amedisys Hospice for their care and compassion.
The family will receive friends today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
