Miss Elliott is the granddaughter of Toni Elliott Williams of Etowah, the late James Elliott, Lucille Parrott of Tellico Plains, and the late Jerry Parrott. She is the sister of Bonnie Elliott Cretton and Chris Cretton, both of Cleveland.
A 2006 graduate of Bradley Central High School and a 2010 graduate of Lee University with a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry, the bride-to-be presently teaches chemistry at Bradley Central High School. She attends St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.
Mr. Casteel is the grandson of Barbara Wooden of Cleveland, the late Edwin Wooden, and the late Joe and Ruth Casteel of Cleveland. A 2006 graduate of Riverside Military Academy, he is a 2012 graduate of Lee University with a bachelor’s of arts degree in political science. He attends St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.
After their marriage, the newlywed couple will move to Northern England to complete their postgraduate studies. Miss Elliott is the 2012 recipient of the Rotary International Scholarship through which she has been afforded the opportunity to pursue a master’s of science in international public health at the University of York in the United Kingdom.
