Elois O'Brien Duncil, 90, of Benton since January 2010 and a former resident of Malabar, Fla., passed away Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at a local healthcare facility.

She taught Sunday school for more than 60 years. She was a 4-H leader, substitute teacher, sold real estate and was involved with the garden club.

She also played violin in the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.

She attended Shiloh Baptist Church in Ocoee.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Omer Duncil; parents, Olie and Helen Stewart O'Brien; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; three brothers; and three sisters.

She is survived by her children: Larry Duncil and Alyse Ogle; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 7 stepgrandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Campbell officiating. Interment will be held in Florida.

The family will receive friends Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
