Ernest Glen Frazier, 92, a resident of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, in Chattanooga.
He was born on July 12, 1921, to the late Parker and Stella Frazier.
He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, after moving there at a young age. He was of the Baptist faith, worked as a brick mason and loved sports — especially baseball. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served as a medic.
In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Carol Ann Kilgore; and several siblings.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 73 years, Maudie M. Frazier; daughter, Connie Carpenter (Gary) of Ringgold, Ga.; brother, James "Sonny" Frazier (Edna) of Ringgold; sister, Anna Lee Woody of Harrison; and two grandchildren: Traye Carpenter and Misty King (Frank).
Interment will be Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at 11:30 a.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery and will conclude with full military honors.
