Etta Mae Rymer, 90, of Reliance, passed away Friday, July 16, 2010, at her home.

She was born and raised in Polk County and lived there all her life.

She was preceded in death by husband Calvin (Cal) Rymer, sons Arlien and Delmon Rymer, great grandson Joshua Ownby, sister Emmer Carver, brothers Leeland, Will and Elsie Hicks. She was a member of Towee Baptist Church.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law: Mildred and Jim Osborne of Madisonville, Nola and Dale McKenzie of Cleveland, Betty Gay of Tellico Plains and Nelline Talley of Reliance; sons and daughters-in-law: Bud and Lula Mae Rymer of Tellico Plains and Benniand Mary Rymer of Reliance; sisters & brother-in-law: Marie Dockery and Ethel (Squeak) & Raymond Bates

Twelve grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren also survive along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday July 19, 2010, at Rural Vale Baptist Church with the Revs. Vernon Webb and Larry Walker officiating.

Interment in Rural Vale Cemetery.

Family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m.today at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home in Tellico Plains.
