Maggie Barys became the bride of Darrin Lynn Evans, both of Red Bank, in an evening ceremony on May 14, 2011, at the Renaissance Center at Rossville, Ga.

The bride is the daughter of Paul and Sarah Barys of Chattanooga. She is the granddaughter of Ed Barys of Chicago, the late Betty Barys, Virginia Bainbridge of Washington, N.C., and the late Don Bainbridge.

The bridegroom is the son of Cheryl Evans of Soddy-Daisy and Dennis Evans of Cleveland. He is the grandson of Shirley Wilson and Harlan Ratcliff, both of Hixson, and the late Barbara and Carlton “Cotton” Evans.

The wedding was officiated by the Rev. Doug Bryant of Abba’s House. Nuptial music was presented by deejay Gene Lovin.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Jamie Barys of Shanghai, China, as maid of honor. Heather Hickey of Knoxville served as her matron of honor.

The bridegroom’s father served him as best man. Groomsmen were Nolan Cook of Cleveland and Luke Morgan of Willis, Calif.

Thein and Quinnlyn Cordero of Tampa, Fla., were flower girls. Nate Cordero of Tampa was ring bearer.

The parents of the bride gave the reception at the Renaissance Center. Anna Loy attended the bride’s book.

After a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple is at home in Red Bank.
