Sheriff-elect Eric Watson is reaching out for help for a woman whose home was destroyed by fire Sunday.

Vicki Lee and her son lost everything they owned.

Watson said Lee lost her husband just a few months ago and they didn’t “have insurance for this family to recover.”

“Right now, their most urgent need is clothing,” Watson said.

Her son is 13 and wears a medium shirt, size 16 pants, size 11 shoe and 14-16 underwear. Women’s clothing sizes are 18-20 slacks, blouse 20-22, bra 44, and underwear size 9.

“Although we cannot give them back what they lost in the fire, we can help them with this most immediate need and more importantly, make this family feel that there is a community willing to help them get through this most difficult time in their lives,” he said.

The clothing items can be taken to Village Tire at 232 3rd Street in Cleveland.
