The daughter of the late Cecil and Leona Hembree Burchfield, she had resided most of her life in Bradley County.
She was a longtime member of Valley View Baptist Church, was employed by Cleveland Bank & Trust which is now First Tennessee, and had founded along with her husband, Apple Valley Orchard in 1974.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Charles McSpadden Sr. of Cleveland; one son, Chuck (Joy) McSpadden of Cleveland; two grandchildren: Caitlin and Charlie McSpadden of Cleveland; three sisters: Ann (Grady) Chastain of Cleveland, Eva (Elbert) Austin of Old Fort and Emma (Bill) of Tallahassee, Fla.; one brother, Gilbert (Delia) Birchfield of Tullahoma; and several nieces and nephews as well as other extended family members and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at Valley View Baptist Church.
The family and friends will meet at Moore’s Chapel Cemetery at 11 a.m. Saturday for a graveside service.
The family will receive friends on Friday at the church from 4 to 7 p.m.
