FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH’S Covering His World Ministry of the Recreation Arts and Crafts Ministry presented a check for $2,000 to People For Care and Learning to build two homes within the Build-a-City Project in Cambodia. The money was raised through quilting many specialty quilts, called T-shirt Quilts, for families of our community. Over this past year, these ladies have sent more than 200 quilts with mission teams from First Baptist Church to Cambodia, Ethiopia and Nicaragua orphanages. In the coming weeks more childrens quilts will be sent to New Hope Pregnancy Care Center and the Tennessee Baptist Children Home.
