Daniel Casson, left, and work supervisor Randy King ready memorial flags on the Bradley County Courthouse Plaza for storage. On Tuesday morning, the flags honoring James M. Hammonds and Benjamin L. Riggs were discovered missing. Veterans Service Officer Joe Davis said there will be no questions asked if anyone returns the flags. Seventy-eight flags were sold as part of a fundraiser for the Southeast Tennessee Veterans Home. The goal is to sell 500 flags for display on Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Veterans Day and special occasions. Banner photo, DAVID DAVIS
