The victory was crucial for the Flames in Southern States Athletic Conference play. Lee now sits at 6-5-1 overall, moving back to .500 in conference play at 3-3.
With the loss Emmanuel falls to 7-5-1 overall and 2-4 in conference play.
The two clubs battled scoreless for most of the opening half until Eddie Green found the back of the net in the 35th minute to put the Lions up 1-0. Andrew Tanner and Andres Mora assisted.
The home team wasted little time in squaring things back up as Senior Sias Reyneke headed in a corner kick from Shoval Failer to make it 1-1 at the 37:56 mark.
Freshman Jonathan Perelman gave the Flames the advantage in the 41st minute when he scored off a loose ball Emmanuel failed to clear.
Senior Marvin Ochieng made it three goals in just under six minutes for the Flames when he scored off a rebound from Ben Armstrong's shot in the 43rd minute.
Chevon Roberts added one second half goal for the Flames scoring at the 53:18 mark to complete the victory. Reyneke and Cedric Beauzile provided the assist.
"I really like the energy our reserve players gave at the end of the first half as we got three goals in six minutes" stated coach Paul Furey.
Lee managed 20 shots in the game, nine of which were on target. Emmanuel had 17 shots, 11 of which were on goal.
Flames goalkeeper Tom Halsall recorded an impressive 10 saves in the match while allowing the one goal. Lions keeper Anel Lilic had five saves in allowing four goals.
"Big game for Sias (Reyneke) scoring a goal and creating two others. We needed him to come through and he did," added coach Furey.
Furey's club will look to make it three SSAC wins in a row on Thursday when it hosts the third-ranked Auburn University at Montgomery Warhawks. The match is slated for a 4 p.m. start.
