Flora Lee “Bill” Epperson, 86, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday morning, Jan. 8, 2012, at her home.

She was a member of West Cleveland Baptist Church.

She enjoyed working with her hands, sewing, quilting, cooking and canning. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, father, Clinton Gerstal Dunn, and mother, Roa Lee Cockburn; grandmother, Pat Horton Dunn; and brother, James Clinton Dunn.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Eddie Epperson of Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Bruce Epperson and wife, Susie of Maryville and son, Terry “Tobe” Epperson of Cleveland; grandsons: Matthew Epperson, Tige Epperson, Eric Epperson and Andrew Epperson; granddaughter, Lainey Epperson; and great-granddaughter, Hope Epperson.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan.11, 2012, in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Rev. Arris Cavender officiating. Interment will follow in the Tennga Baptist Church Cemetery in Tennga, Ga. with Matt Epperson, Tige Epperson, Eric Epperson, Andrew Epperson, Ron Moore and Will Moore serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
