Frances Inez Banks, 84, of Cleveland, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 8, 2010.She was born Jan. 13, 1926. She was called "Mom" by five and "Nana" by many and was a member of Spring Place Road Church of God of Prophecy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Leona Beck; brothers: Claude Beck, Clint Beck and Frankie Beck; sisters: Geneva Ware, Margaret Mowery and Hazel McBath; son, Henry Banks; great-granddaughter, Kayla York; and great-grandson, Fulton York.

Survivors include her daughters: Louise Maddux and husband, Dennis, of Old Fort and Irene Jones and husband, Clarence, of Cleveland; sons: Glen Banks and wife, Holly, and Robert Banks and wife, Dorothy, all of Cleveland; ex-husband, Emmett Banks of Old Fort; brothers: Charles Beck, Clyde Beck and Roy Beck, all of Cleveland; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2010, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Joel Jenkins officiating.Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Brian Banks, Greg Banks, Walt Bracken, Dennis Maddux, Shane Maddux and Mark York serving as pallbearers.
