She attended Benton Church of God, 577 Clemmer Ferry Road, Benton, until she became ill and was unable to attend.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomason; four children: Sharon Leah Thomason, Robert Eugene Thomason, Lillian Ann Ener Johnson, Edward William Thomason and one son-in-law, the Rev. Jess Martin; her parents, William and Pauline Stankevich; brother, William Stankevich Stanford; and three sisters: Julia Crowe, Marcella Budzius and Domie Creekmore.
Survivors include four sisters: Anne Pridala of Crowne Point, Ind., Nell Jurzak of Calumet City, Ind., Daisy Ann Talley of Merrillville, Ind., and Eva Brav of Cedar Lake, Ind.; her loving children and their spouses: Alvin Eugene and Patricia Thomason, Janet “Jan” E. Martin, Charles and Sue Thomason, Phyllis Jean Chambers and Nell Lynn Maynor; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Benton Church of God, 577 Clemmer Ferry Road, Benton, today, from 6 to 8, and Wednesday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Rev. Jerry Herron will conduct the service Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the church.
Interment will be in Old Ocoee Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
