Freddie Dale “Fredro” Hawkins, 61, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at his residence.

He was of the Baptist faith. He was a former employee of the Bradley County Road Department and was currently with Santek Waste Services.

He was the son of the late David Lee Anden Hawkins and Myrta Morrison Hawkins. He was also preceded in death by his two brothers-in-law: John Billy Reagan and Glen Bishop.

He is survived by his former wife and special friend, Teresa Brown, and husband, Max; three sisters: Gladys Ruth Ensley and husband, Glenn, Mary Betty Bishop and Eula Irene Reagan, all of Cleveland; three brothers: Charles Edward Hawkins and wife, Estelle, Henry Burton Hawkins and wife, Wilma, and David Ennis Hawkins and Sandy, all of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.

A gathering of friends will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at Union Missionary Baptist Church.
