Freddie Robert Garland, 60, of Oakwood, Ga., went to his final resting place on Nov. 4, 2012.
He was the son of the late Claud Garland. He will dearly missed by his family and friends. He was an inspiration to all who knew him. He left this world with a cheerful heart bound for heaven. He left behind a family loved and cherished him. His one desire was to meet all his loved ones in heaven to be with the Lord.
He was of the Lutheran faith and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Garland of Oakwood, Ga.; his mom: Doris Payne Garland of Cleveland; two sisters: Glenda Epperson and her husband, Lynn, of Georgetown and Judy Poe of Cleveland; five nieces and nephews; seven great-nieces and nephews; and numerous other extended family members and friends. He also left behind a very special Aunt Jonnie, who he will be waiting for in heaven on to show her the way; and best friend Bud Waltman.
The Remembrance of Life memorial celebration of his life was held Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, with Pastor Andy Seibert officiating.
