He was born in Chattanooga, and lived in Hamilton County for years.
He had an uncanny ability to fix things. He also had a passion for construction of homes and buildings. He was one of a kind, and a man of simplicity.
He was a cat lover and had many strays that came onto his property, and over the years he made it a policy to help love and provide a home for them.
He will be missed by his children, relatives and close friends.
He leaves behind his two sons: Jeffrey H. Worth (Danelle) and Derek B. Worth (Melissa); one grandchild, Madison, daughter of Jeffrey H. Worth; two siblings: brother, Richard A. Worth (Celica) and sister, Peggy St. Hilaire; nephews: Chris Coffee, Rickie Worth and Charlie Worth; nieces: Coral Worth, April Miller (Steve), Lindsay St. Hilaire and Gracie St. Hilaire; and closest friend, Johnny Ledford.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
You are encouraged to share a memory and/or your personal condolences with his family by visiting his memorial Web page and guest book at www.companionfunerals.com.
Companion Funeral & Cremation Service is honored to assist the Worth family with these arrangements.
