Freida Jean Quinn McMahan, 73, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014, at her residence.
She was born and reared in Cleveland, and was a member of Union Grove Church of Christ.
She was a graduate of Bradley Central High School, class of 1958.
She was a 20-year employee of Rust Engineering of Birmingham, Ala., and for the past 15 years was with FirstFleet Inc. of Murfreesboro. She was an avid reader and enjoyed NASCAR and the Food Network.
She was preceeded in death by her father, Fred Quinn; grandparents, Frank and Maggie Quinn and John and Zona Parker; and brother-in-law, Donald Whaley.
Survivors include her mother, Helen Quinn; daughter, Sandy (Chris) Ledbetter of Crossville; sisters: Betty Whaley of Cleveland; Frances (Wade) Hammonds of Georgetown; Margaret (Howard) Stone of Gallatin; Susie (Ralph) Daniel of Cleveland, Ga.; Phyllis (Edward) Williams of Etowah; grandchildren: Ashlee Benton and Justin McMahan of Crossville and several nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be from 4 to 7 this evening, May 13, 2014, at the Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the funeral service immediately following at 7 in the chapel with Minister Steve Hall officiating.
Interment will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2014, in Union Grove Church of Christ Cemetery, with evangelist Roger Campbell officiating. Family members will serve as pallbearers. A white dove release will concluded the service.
