Survivors include his children: Gena Rymer, Gary Rogers, Glenn Rogers and Kathy Silvers.
The funeral will be conducted at 8 tonight, Jan. 23, 2013, at Zion Baptist Church. Interment will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
His family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church prior to the service.
Higgins Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
