George W. Clowers, 86, of Cleveland, died Saturday, April 14, 2012, in a Chattanooga health care facility.
He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during World War II. He retired from Magic Chef after many years of service. He attended Unity Church of God.
Survivors include his sons: David Clowers and Don Clowers, both of Cleveland, and Randall Clowers and Ronnie Clowers, both of Longview, Texas; brothers: Joe Clowers and Roy Clowers; and sister, Mary Swanson, all of Cleveland.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
