Edward and Brenda Gilbert of Cleveland announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Mandy, to Adam Franklin, the son of Dewayne and Deborah Franklin of Cleveland.

The couple will wed in a 7 p.m. ceremony on July 31 at Candies Creek Baptist Church.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the Rev. Robert and Judy Jewett of Wauseukee, Wis., and the late Edward and Thelma Gilbert. She is the sister of Meagan Hillard, Dustin Gilbert and Anthony Gilbert, all of Cleveland.

Miss Gilbert is a graduate of Bradley Central High School and attended Lee University. She is employed by Chili’s.

The future bridegroom is the grandson of Betty Flowers of Cleveland and the late Tom Flowers and Junior and Jackie Hall of Cleveland.

Mr. Franklin is a graduate of Bradley Central High School and attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He is employed by Fulin’s.
