Wayne and Pam Griffin of Birchwood announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Brittany, to Zack Haney, the son of Rob and Delores Haynie of Cleveland and the late Larry Haney.

The engaged couple will exchange wedding vows in a 7 p.m. ceremony on Aug. 21 at the Museum Center at Five Points.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dorothy Griffin of Birchwood and the late Perry Griffin, Carolyn Boyd of Birchwood and the late Edward Boyd. She is the sister of Jeremy Griffin of Georgetown.

Miss Griffin is a 2006 graduate of Walker Valley High School and a 2010 graduate of Cleveland State Community College. She is employed by Consultants in Pain Management in Chattanooga.

The future bridegroom is the grandson of Billy and Emma Sue Haney of Charleston and the late John and Juanita Henry. He is the brother of Nathan Haney of Virginia Beach Va., Lynsie Hensley of Riceville and Elijah Haynie of Cleveland.

Mr. Haney is a 2005 graduate of Walker Valley High School and serves (delayed entry) in the U.S. Navy. Both are members of Greenwood Baptist Church.
