Grover Leach Park, 72, of Old Fort, passed away in a local health care facility on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012.
He was the son of the late Robert Park and Mauveen Park Evans.
He was of the Baptist faith and a lifelong resident of Old Fort. He owned and operated Bradley Body Shop for many years.
Above all the things he will be remembered for, he was a loving father, brother, grandfather and uncle.
In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by two sons: Michael Park and Justin Murphy; and one daughter, Gina Daub Stewart.
He leaves behind the following family members to cherish his memory — three sons: Tony Park of Cleveland, Jeff Park and Brandon Murphy, both of Old Fort; daughter, Tracey Lyles of Cleveland; sisters: Mary Thornton, Loena Dill, and Ann Corbin (Johnnie), all of Cleveland; a very special friend, Valerie Hart of Benton; several loving grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and other extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening, Aug. 31, 2012, at Kinser Road Church of God, 140 Kinser Road S.E., Cleveland TN 37323.
The funeral will immediately follow the visitation at 8 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Guinn Green officiating.
The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be sent to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga TN 37416 or Kinser Road Church of God Benevolence Fund.
