Habitat groundbreaking

MEMBERS OF First Cumberland Presbyterian Church wrote words praising God on the 2x4s that will be used as the frame of Kathy Locke’s new home being built by Habitat For Humanity. The church sponsored the new home, which is one of 12 that it has either sponsored or co-sponsored in Cleveland and Bradley County. First Cumberland’s pastor, the Rev. Jennifer Newell, blessed the home with a prayer prior to the groundbreaking ceremony. Banner photos, HOWARD PIERCE
