Dominique Hannah has been named Southern States Athletic Conference softball Player of the Week after she continued to swing a red-hot bat in conference action.

Hannah capped things off with a three home run performance in a 11-4 victory over Spring Hill College Friday afternoon. The sophomore from Nashville connected on three solo long balls and scored four times in the contest.

Hannah hit safely in all five games last week and is now batting a sizzling .552 on the year with eight homers and 38 RBI. The Lee right fielder guided the Lady Flames to a 3-2 mark with wins over SSAC rivals Brewton-Parker , Spring Hill College and the University of Mobile.

Hannah and the No. 3-ranked Lady Flames are back in action this week with a doubleheader scheduled against Shorter University on today at Butler Field. First pitch for both matchups is slated for 3 p.m.
