Harley J. “Bobby” Padgett Jr., 70, of Cleveland passed away Friday morning, Oct. 4, 2013 in a Chattanooga health care facility.
He was the son of the late Harley Padgett Sr. and Maggie Rollins Padgett.
He was employed with the maintenance department of the Cleveland City School System and attended Westmore Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Padgett; one daughter, Cynthia “Cyndi” Summers and her husband, Brian, of Cleveland; granddaughters: Stephanie and Tiffany Summers; sisters: Linda Larmon and her husband Leonard of Rocky Face, Ga., and Nancy Pack of Ranger, Ga.; brothers: David “Pete” Padgett and Jeff Padgett and his wife, Ruth, all of Dalton; and several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at noon Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at the Westmore Church of God with the Rev. Wendell Smith officiating.
Interment will follow in the New Hope Baptist church cemetery in Tunnel Hill, Ga.
The family will receive friends today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the North Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes.
